This walk is a continuation of the 5.2 walk. When one arrives at the road to Killavullen, (see 5.2) continue to follow the waymarker across the road and enter the wood.

Descend through the wood for approximately 200m and continue along the road towards Killavullen following the waymarkers, into meandering country lanes, bridges over streams, lovely stiles and eventually emerge on the Killavullen road at the Grange School.

Turn right at Grange School and follow the road back to the Castle Tavern.
