14.2 Anglesborough - Combaun Wood - Blue Loop
The second walk blue waymarkers is a magnificent walk beginning at
Combaun Wood. It meanders up through the woods, down into a small valley, crossing
streams and rising eventually until at one point it exits the forest near Temple Hill (789m), which
is the beginning of the Galty range walks. At this point, one has magnificent views of Galbally and
County Limerick. The walk continues down Paradise Hill (346 m) and exits at the road to Aherlow, 1.5km from the village of
Anglesborough. Turn left, go through the village, past the church and return to your car.
